O Pátio Aberto do Centro Cultural Vale Maranhão – CCVM receberá, nesta quinta-feira, 21, às 19h, o recital poético e musical Mulheres de Atenas, comandado pela cantora e compositora Célia Leite. O evento busca incentivar mulheres em todas as categorias e gêneros a exercer, também, a função poética e musical, preservando a cultura literária feminina. Célia Leite receberá as poetisas maranhenses Thayla Kadige, Anna Liz, Luiza Cantanhede, Paola B. Soto e Mery Patricia para celebrar o talento feminino na literatura e realizar um encontro de diferentes gerações de artistas mulheres.
Formada em Turismo, Célia começou a carreira artística em 1980. Estudou na Escola de Música do Maranhão por oito anos e de lá pra cá realizou centenas de shows e participações em festivais no Maranhão e em outros estados, como Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e o Distrito Federal. Com produção independente, já lançou 1 LP, 4 CDs e 1 EP, além de registros em outros álbuns fonográficos, como nos vinis “Segunda de Arte”, “Tribo” e “Maio Oito Meia”.

O Centro Cultural Vale Maranhão fica localizado na Rua Direita, nº 149, Centro Histórico de São Luís. Programação gratuita.
