A websérie “Manu & Duda”, produzida e estrelada pelas cineastas Duda Neves e Sheury Manu, está concorrendo na categoria “Melhor Performance em Não Ficção” pelo Festival Internacional Rio Web Fest 2021.
A websérie mostra de forma bem humorada o cotidiano e características de mãe e filha em casa e vem conquistando os seguidores das protagonistas nas redes sociais.
A ideia surgiu de um trabalho de faculdade de Duda Neves e a já conta com 04 episódios, postados nas redes sociais da mesma.
O festival Internacional do Rio está em sua sexta edição e a cerimônia de abertura será realizada entre os dias 25 e 28 de novembro, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
A série ou vídeo com mais votos será premiada em dinheiro na cerimônia de abertura do Rio Webfest 2020 e com o Troféu Voto Popular RIOWF21. Entre os concorrentes no festival estão, Vera Fisher, Fernanda Paes Leme, Manu Gavassi e claro, as maranhenses, Duda Neves e Sheury Manu.
“Não esperava. Eu fiquei muito feliz. Foi uma loucura quando eu descobri quando tinha passado. Mandei mensagem pra minha mãe, chorei, foi surreal e ainda não tô acreditando.” comenta Duda Neves.
