Nesta quinta-feira (20), no Teatro Arthur Azevedo, às 19h, o show do violonista Turíbio Santos no Teatro Arthur Azevedo, marca a abertura da programação do circuito nacional ‘Música nas Cidades Históricas – MUCIH’, que seguirá com shows e apresentações em diversos espaços na capital até o dia 23 de abril. A programação é totalmente gratuita.
Aclamado por todo o mundo, Turíbio Santos é o grande homenageado desta edição. Ele fará também uma palestra na sexta-feira, 21, às 10h30, na Escola de Música “Lilah Lisboa” do Maranhão.
Haverá shows e apresentações no Museu Histórico e Artístico de São Luís, Teatro João do Vale, Convento das Mercês, Casa do Tambor de Crioula e a Catedral da Sé. O violonista Celso Faria, a pianista Maria Teresa Madeira, o grupo Chantar (Trovadoras Medievais), o Duo Penezzi e Proveta, o violonista João Pedro Borges, o violonista Alessandro Freitas, a Orquestra Maranhense de Violões, o grupo Instrumental Pixinguinha, o pianista Daniel Lemos e o grupo de tambor de crioula Pungar da Ilha participam do MUCIH em São Luís (MA).
